To appease you, here is a poem I wrote inspired by Homi Bhabha:

Seeking recourse;
Seeking purple,
but not red,
or green,
or anything in/between.
Seeking boundedness,
and not some
post-colonial grit.
For it's not newness that
defines us,
it's not the momentary tugs
which pull all directions
directionless.
No,
I will not seek
for the very act is between
worlds.
And yet here I am;
An etymological study
of humanity
leads to defeat,
I am un/one.
