WOMEN'S DAY

I haven't posted in a really long time, but I'm BACK NOW, and am proud to have you reading my Blog!

I use to be an activist. I mean there wasn't an NGO I didn't know about and most of them rotated the same four or so volunteers and I was proud to be a member of this group of people, leftists mostly, but a better representation is a people who "CARE" for the fundamentals of life and its various liberties.

None of them agreed upon what was the right vision of the country, none of them had a set mind upon any vision to an extent, and all of them cried blood when it came to working on bettering the country. These are the people I pride myself in as a Lebanese Citizen, though now I am far from them, they are the ones who have given me the backbone to know that there is something worth revolting for.

Today is women's day and all I think about is these activist who crawl the streets with there names so strongly stringent, so pronounced and present, that they all but merge into the same person. This is as much there day as it is women's day. Without them women wouldn't have a day at all.

i tribute the men and women activists for their unwavering efforts at making Lebanon worthy of its historic title.
